Research Paper:
I led a research project where I created a scientific questionnaire surrounding the effects of social media body standards on the eating habits and behaviors of adolescents. Disordered eating has a huge toll on mental health, due to the person potentially valuing their eating habits and body image over their actual health. Through the growing prevalence of social media, body image issues that include eating disorders may be occurring in younger age groups, as these groups now have access to various social media platforms that place emphasis and high value on one’s appearance. I collected my data and wrote a 17-page APA formatted research paper on my topic and data.

The Writing Process:
1.) Collecting the initial research, went through 8+ articles on previous research about eating disorders and their connection to social media.
2.) Writing the abstract, introduction section, etc.
3.) Conducting the survey, after creating a questionnaire, I uploaded it in various sites, including Discord, Whatsapp, Instagram, etc.
4.) Analyzing the data: finding the whether the p-value was significant, uploading the B-value, stating the Mean and Standard Deviation , etc.
5.) Finishing sections such as Methods, Results, Discussion
